Mia Royce is an Illustrator/Animator currently living in Los Angeles California. An artist with a great passion for writing stories, she loves to create animations, comics, and narrative based work. As a gay child she never really saw much of herself in media so when she grew up, she decided to make her own representation. Much of her current work involves adapting songs, poems, myths or fairy tales into comics and animations and in many cases trying to update them in modern ways. She graduated from Rhode Island School of Design in 2020
